Dharmik Australia is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers. The committee members give freely of their time and pay all their own expenses when travelling to and volunteering in Nepal.

We have many members, child sponsors, donors and supporters, this page shows current active committee members.

Pauline is our President, Secretary and Public Officer. She joined the committee after trekking in Nepal in 2009. She and her family are helping us in many ways including a personally sponsored school computer upgrade project.

Pauline and her husband Rohan visited Nepal in 2010 and plan to return regularly.

Phil Mewett - Vice President

Phil Mewett is currently Managing Director and Principal of a management consulting company, Utopia Consulting Pty Ltd. Phil was the CEO of well known surf brand company Ocean and Earth Australia. Being Past District Governor of Rotary District 9710, current District Rotary Foundation Chair and member of the Rotary Club of Sussex Inlet, Phil brings a very strong Rotary element to our team. Phil is married to Denise and they have 3 sons and 2 grandsons

Rohan Gleeson - Treasurer

Rohan Gleeson joined our team after visiting Nepal with his wife Pauline. He is the owner and Managing Director of Southern Computer Co and like Phil Mewett has a strong connection with Rotary being the Past President of the Rotary Club of Moruya and is currently the District Chairman for Youth Exchange. Rohan is married to Pauline and they have 2 adult sons.

Mark is Co-Founder and Nepal Director, managing all our programs in Nepal. He is married to a Nepali and travels to Nepal on a regular basis for his information technology business and to work closely with the staff in Nepal.

Phil Gleeson is our youngest member and has a strong background in web development owning his own company Phoenix Media Group. Phil hopes to travel to Nepal in 2011 to better his understanding of our work. Phil lives in Canberra.
